Alan & Karen entered the NW Surrey Mixed Pairs for the first time last year and lost in the 1st round to a pair from Ottershaw. Undeterred, they entered again this year and ended up playing pairs from Staines, Ottershaw/Ashford, Addlestone (with sub Anita!) and then Egham in the semi-final at Bishop Duppas. They faced another pair from Egham in the final at Ottershaw on 30th August and somehow won, the first time in 21yrs that Sunbury has collected a NWS trophy!
