It was a sunset finish to our latest SML game at Ashford on Wednesday. A 6pm start, 18 ends plus two trials meant for a gloomy finish now we’re half way through August! The game itself was brighter and rather close in the end with Sunbury taking wins on the last end on two rinks. Ashford took the overall shot count by 4 and the game 6-4.

Club Night will continue at 6pm for the next couple of Tuesdays but switch to an earlier start of 5:30pm from 2nd September.

We’ll soon be into the last two weeks of our club competitions with pretty much only semi-finals remaining before the silverware is decided at the end of the month.

The sign-up sheet and menu choices for the annual dinner and presentation of awards on 21st November is available on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.

 

The summerhouse arrived on Thursday and construction begins today,  Friday. Thanks to everyone who can lend some help.
