Presidents Cup semis

Hi All
Please find laid out below the details for Presidents Cup on the 17th August, as we only have the use of 3 rinks those who played on the 25th July will start at 10:00 and those who played on the 26th July will start at 14:00:

As I am not available on the 17th, Alan Pilkington will be running the games. As usual will be looking for volunteers to mark the games please contact Alan or me if you are available.

The Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup started on Saturday 25th July with a bit of light rain but all matches were completed before the heavy rain later. It concluded in the sunshine on Sunday 26th with some close matches, with one in particular going into three extra ends.

Congratulations to Tom, AlanP, Anita, Eileen, Bob, Liam, Richard and Peter Saul – the quarter/semi finals will be played on Monday 17th August.

Thanks to all the markers and Brian for the organisation.

Presidents Cup 25-26th July

The draw for the Presidents Cup has been made (click link Presidents Cup) so please make sure you know what day you are playing as the competition is being run on a daily basis this year. The first round each day will start at 10:00 with the second round starting approximately 12:00. I have got markers for the first round each day, but will need markers for the second round so if you are knocked out of the first round and are available to mark in the second round please let me know.

As we are restricted to using just three rinks and will not have time to run three rounds in a day, Alan and I have decided the next rounds (semi final and final from each day) will have to be played on Monday 17th of August starting at 10:00, with the winners from the daily finals competing against each other on finals day.
