The result may have gone against Sunbury but a good time was had by all on Saturday’s trip to play the Royal Household in Windsor Great Park. Thanks to Colin for initially mooting the invitation and to Eileen, Nikki & Dennis for the organisation.

The weekend was completed with a home game against last year’s runners-up in the SML. After winning on one rink and drawing on another the game ended with a 7-3 win for Staines. Unfortunately that leaves Sunbury still searching for a first win of the season in league and friendlies .. the next opportunity is a trip to Stanwell on Sunday to play in the SML.

The deadline for entry into our club competitions is Wed 20th so please do get in touch if you’d like to enter or amend any or with any queries. As in previous years, entries to the day-long competitions (6th & 28th June; 18th July and 8th Aug) will be accepted a short time before the actual day. For info, the draws for the Men’s & Women’s championships will be held after one of the team friendlies on 23rd/24th May. All the draws will be published online and posted somewhere around the club soon after.
