It’s with much sadness we mourn the untimely death of Richard Moxon, a real gentleman in every sense of the word. He was a fine club bowler, winning the Presidents Plate in 2020 alongside Brian & Roger, followed by the Junior Championship in 2021. But it’s fair to say the winning wasn’t everything, he genuinely enjoyed his bowling, with his demeanour unchanged win or lose! Whether it was a chat in the bar or around the bowls green, Richard managed to connect with everyone he met. I particularly enjoyed hearing of his tales about a recent trip to Japan with his partner Jacqueline and another of his passions, Fulham FC. There was nothing not to like about him, he’ll be truly missed! RIP Richard.
